This notice explains, in plain English, what personal information Wexlar Studios collects, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. No jargon, no surprises.

Who we are

Wexlar Studios (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a web design studio run by two brothers across the United Kingdom and Türkiye. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can reach us any time at hello@wexlarstudios.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to reply to you and to run this website well:

  • Enquiry details you send us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, business name, the type of project you select, and your message.
  • Anything you choose to email us. If you contact us directly by email, we hold whatever you include in that message.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs limited technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build behavioural profiles of visitors.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, deliver and support any project you ask us to, and keep our website secure. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.

Our lawful bases

Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases: consent when you choose to send us an enquiry; contract when we are working together on a project; and our legitimate interests in keeping the website secure and running smoothly.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no marketing or analytics cookies. The only thing we store on your device is a small preference (wexlar_lang) that remembers whether you chose English or Turkish, so the site loads in your language next time. You can clear it any time through your browser settings.

Services we rely on

To run this website and reply to you, we use a small number of trusted providers, each with their own privacy terms:

  • Web3Forms: securely passes your contact-form message to our inbox.
  • Cloudflare: hosts and protects the website.
  • Google Fonts: serves the typefaces you see; this may involve your browser requesting files from Google, which can receive your IP address.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to deal with your request and for our legitimate business records. If your enquiry doesn't lead to a project, we'll delete it when it's no longer useful. You can ask us to erase your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, just email hello@wexlarstudios.com and we'll respond promptly.

If you're in the UK and you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

International handling

Because we work across the UK and Türkiye, your enquiry may be viewed by either of us. We take care to protect your information wherever it is accessed, and only the two of us handle it.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this notice

If we update how we handle data, we'll revise this page and change the date above. For anything you're unsure about, email us. A real person will reply, usually within a day.
